It's free & private.  - When should I take a pregnancy test? It's best to **wait until you've missed your period** before taking a pregnancy test for the most accurate results. This gives your body time to produce enough of the pregnancy hormone (hCG) for the test to detect. If you're anxious to know sooner, **you can test up to 6 days before your missed period, but the results may not be as reliable**.
